Im trying to do the same thing with VCM 2 and v86 on a 2006 connect but when I go through the process to remove the limit I get this error -
Error Code: 4 - 0x22 851082

am I doing something wrong? config files are loaded.

I assume this error pops up before PCM (ECU) is erased

Have you installed calibration files ? or make sure IDS laptop is connected to internet (This will allow IDS to download the correct calibration for your ECU)

Yeah v81 calibration files are installed its a clone so I won't be able to connect to the net will I?

I've just bought a 2011 Mk7 Transit that has a limiter on it, is there anyone in the Norfolk or Kent area with the VCMII & IDS that could help remove it? I don't know if Paul2012 is still around.

Willing to pay with money or beer!
Transit MK7 T300 MWB High Roof camper conversion :shock:

Problem = It should move but doesn't
Solution = WD40

Problem = It shouldn't move but does
Solution = Cable ties & duct tape
