If you do a search, you'll find it's been done before. Fit a 90ps Focus TDDi ECU to a 75ps TDDi Connect, and code it in, and you'll have a 90ps Connect.

Check out the posts of Paul2012, he's done it a few times
1994 Mk4 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (R.I.P.)
1997 Mk5 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (Gone, but not forgotten!)
2004 Mk6 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.0 TDDi - Vantunered (Also gone)
2008 Mk7 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.2 TDCi - Also Vantunered

Yes easily done. 2 options.

1. Obtain a PCM from a Mki Focus 1.8 TDDI 90ps. Fit it program your ignition key to it then program connects fuel pump. Job done. run at 90ps.

2. Using IDS to install Focus 1.8 TDDI 90ps calibration onto Connects PCM. You'll have to trick IDS into thinking PCM is blank 1st before typing in Focus PCM & Calibration no in.
By doing it this way you don't need to program fuel pump 8)

PS Focus mk1 115ps is TDCI. Won't work on TDDI's

@paul2012 I have ford focus mk1 1.8tddi 75ps. If I swap the ECU from 90ps one. Do I need to program the fuel pump too?
Is there any other difference between 75ps and 90ps except the ECU?

@paul2012 No, I have 1.8 tddi 55kw, 75ps focus mk1, they are rear but exist. You can google it.
(I'm not from UK.)

And I'm curious
1) if I swap the ECU from 90ps one. Do I need to program the fuel pump too?

2) Is there any other difference between 75ps and 90ps except the ECU?

Thanks
