***2010 TRANSIT CONNECT QUESTIONS***

1. Is there a 2010 Transit Connect? Not a Transit Connect XL, or XLT.
My Connect is just a plain Connect. No XL no XLT. But when I go to get parts, they only list XL or XLT. Could my Kinect be an XL and it is just not labeled on the vehicle?
2. Where is the thermostat located on a 2010 Transit Connect gasoline engine 4 cylinder 2.0?
3. WHERE IS THE THERMOSTAT LOCATED?
4. WHERE IS THE LOCATION OF THE THERMOSTAT?
5. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE THERMOSTAT IS?
6. HOW CAN I FIND THE THERMOSTAT?
By the way, it is impossible to get a hard copy of a repair manual for this vehicle. They have every other kind of Transit Connect from every other year, except for the 2010 gasoline engine model. Unless I want to buy the $160 factory repair manual.

What country are you in? The only petrol version of the connect in the UK had a Zetec 1.8 lump in it. I stand to be educated - as ever though...lol

Im in the usa, but this Transit came from Turkey supposedly...

Without knowing which engine you have, it's hard to be sure, but normally the thermostat is located in a housing which attaches to the engine end of the radiator top hose

Yes I understand what it should be connected to, the problem is everything is covered and/or partially hidden. I need to know where to look.

2.0 16v Duratec HE engine.

Thermostat housing is located on front of engine block (Cylinder 1) behind inlet manifold

I do have the workshop manual covering the USA Connect. Also includes full wiring diagrams etc.

Great. I have found the thermostat. Thank you very much members. Anyone know how to loosen power steering belt? Or which pulley is belt tensioner? Or is there one?
