transit connect 2003 1-8 TDDI no start

higuys i have recently got a connect van as a non runner its had a new pump £1000 battery dash
its getting no power to starter dash shows ------ i can get starter to work with a wire it gets fuel
at injector but wont fire is this imobiliser my mate reckons ecu--pcm fault
am lost any help would be briliant another one i was told it could have something to do with a crash relay
not sure on any the above
any recomendations

Hi

You say that had a new dash fitted. DO you mean instrument cluster

If so has correct one been fitted.
Instrument clusters from 2006 onwards are NOT compatible with earlier 2000-2006 models.

hi thanks for reply cluster has a date on it 2002 i got van non runner its had new pump battery
it was running pre new pump then cut out short while after when turn ignition on little red light flashes slow off and on
the van is nice condition to good to scrap
i also have one on the road not to good condition would i be able to swap dash and ecu over to better van
is that a possability
