Crankcase breather issue

Postby PenfoldConnect » Wed Aug 22, 2018 9:32 am

Hoping someone far cleverer than me can help me out...

I have a 1.8 petrol/LPG LWB Connect (2005). The crankcase breather hose that comes out of the top of the engine on the right hand side is only connected on the engine end - it's dropped off the other end. But I can't for the life of me find out where it attaches back on.

Any ideas?! Pictures below show the end still in the engine, and the loose end.

Many thanks.

It goes into the air filter box or the inlet hose

I think it's the same as the diesels. It should connect to the air box somewhere. Mine attaches to the left hand side of the box, under where the large intake pipe comes out. Somebody else will be able to confirm this.

Thanks for posting the pic liteace. Unfortunately on mine there is no hole there into the filter box. I'm thinking they must re-route the breather hose when they do the LPG conversion?!

Thoroughly confused, but I will not be beaten!
