Dashboard Rev Counter Locked at 5000Rpm

Hello guys!

I just baught a used Ford Transit Connect it’s got low milage and was in reasonable condition i think it’s a 2005model, cant remember exactly . But the rev counter is stuck at 5000rpm bottom of the RPM’s sometimes when i accelerate it get’s mini «spasms» of movement like it twerks a little bit for a lack of a better term. Has anyone had a similar problem?


Sometimes when i start the car the servo dont kick in until i start driving and i figured that maybe this could mess with the micro controller currents if the charges dosnt output 14v or 13.9 , is there a tightening wheel for the rubber band that pulls the servo and dynamo? I guess this could be a separate problem entirely but figured it was worth a mention.


Also the outside rubber gasket for the door that’s suppose to catch Water from the roof (?) is messed up is it possible to Get a new one from someplacw online ?
