Fan Resistor Connection Is Oxidised & Melted

Postby thomaslove » Tue Feb 05, 2019 1:05 pm

Hey folks,
I've been having trouble with the fan blow in my TC so I bought a new resistor. While changing the resistor I found the connection appears to be oxidised and partly melted. Is there a way to replace a single connection without changing the entire wire loom? Any other advice or tips would be much appreciated. I've attached photos of the connector.

Thanks guys

You can chop the connector of a van in a breaker then make a note of where the wires go, prise out the red pad and you'll see the tabs holding the terminals in the plastic and swap the plastic over
