None start after Leak off Test

Postby James8479 » Mon Feb 11, 2019 9:43 pm

Hi guys. Iv been having problems with my connect 1.8cdti cutting out due to injectors. Iv just done a leak off test and 1, 3 and 4 is leaking badly. But it cut out about 30 seconds into the test. But now it won't start at all just turns over like there's no fuel. Any ideas please guys?

When you remove the fuel pipes from the leak of ports did you block off the pipes? If not then it'll fill with air and do what it has done. I usually wrap ptfe tape on mine but you can buy the right kit which will have blanks that plug in.

Make sure it all goes back correctly and maybe look at the fuel filter and fill it to the top. That's unless the connect has a strange setup in which case you'll need to either prime it or keep turning over but don't burn the starter out
