When you remap a diesel, forget the BHP gain, it's the increased torque that you'll notice, if it's done properly 8)

Sorry I know it’s an oldish post, but I’ve just contacted a guy in Cornwall who reckons he can safely put this to 114 bhp, now if anybody has any knowledge of these sort of figures. Is it safely possible, I’m tempted just for the giggle factor to see what happens. Will the engine give out or cause any problems with other parts. It’s an 05 75 lx model with 107000 miles.
What’s your thoughts please ?

The blokes pissing in the wind.....done properly by a man like Martynx aka Vantuner, about 95ps is a reasonable gain.

Thanks I thought it was a bit unrealistic figures, nothing is going to happen for the moment anyway as this morning the van seemed really tight when turning over. Any suggestions as what this could be, the battery is good. Could it possibly be the starter or alternator causing this ?
