My husband has a 2005 1.8 derv transit connect which failed to start a few weeks ago.
We took it to local mechanic who informed us it was the fuel pump which he sent off and they said it was dead and need new. Hubby looked into it and found that common problem is the EDU on the pump so we sent this off for repair which has been returned but when mechanic has put computer on it again still showing P1564 and P1664 codes which he cannot eradicate
.He has tested the pump and all seems to be working now but obviously there is something somewhere not quite right can anyone advise please?
