Transit connect 2007 egr

Postby M.Wyatt » Tue Aug 25, 2020 4:36 pm

I have a 2007 connect tdi i have got the fault code P0490 come up, I have checked the egr valve and it turns o.k. in the housing. I then tried plugging the motor back in leaving it laying on top of the engine and turning the engine on. The motor for the egr valve did not move or make a noise. Can any one tell me before i change the motor part ( in case it's the wiring ) what the voltage should there be at the plug. I have the standard plug three pins across the top and one either side on the bottom row. I tried it with a meter and it was 5.15v top left / 5.07v top middle / 0 /v top right / 1.2v bt'm left and 0v bt'm right. I would be very grateful if anyone could help. Thanks...Martin
