Ford connect starts then switches off and won't start again

Hi everyone, I have a Ford transit connect 2008, it starts up most of the time but sometimes it cranks over but wont start up. When it does start up and I'm driving it, it runs decently but will just switch off while I'm driving and won't start up again even though it is cranking over. I have checked the fuel system and everything is fine, and my snapon tool is not registering any fuel related issues.

I do have a p141a code which is ERG related if anyone with a fix for this I would be appreciative, but my main issue is the non starting but cranking over issue and the random switching off while I'm driving. Any one with suggestions

It may be worth replacing the ignition switch, as they can become faulty, causing exactly these problems
