IDS Speed limiter RCM module Transit connect 2018

Hello

I require some help please and I have heard only good things about this forum.

I've got a 2018 Ford transit connect, I'm trying to remove my speed limiter from 65mph.

My VCM was bought off a lad on here, I don't know his screen name but we think it's a Chinese job.

IDS version 110, I can communicate with my transit all ok, but when going to module programming>speed items, it tells me to enter my VIN which I do so it can match it with my RCM, when I've entered my VIN it tells me it's not correct or isn't matched and to module program my RCM again, I tried this still nothing.

Any ideas on how I get round this? Do I need a higher version of IDS?

I'm familiar with most of IDS as we have a Focus (2008) and a kuga (2012) hence the reason I bought it.

Please help if you can, the lad I bought the box off on here said you were all brilliant people.

I just took the limiter off a 2017 I bought used.

Forscan, the free version. And a USB obd2 hookup (not wifi or bluetooth).

Forget which module it's in, but it was easy to find.
