Hi guys would a set of front seats from a 2008 focus bolt straight into my 57 plate connect?

No mate. Not one single other seat will be a straight swap for your connect seat(s) they will need adapting. Loads of information and threads about this on here if you search

Honestly thought and heard Fiesta ST seats fitted onto the same rail without any issues. Not sure which year or exact model it was but I was convinced. You guys will know better than me though

For some reason I found it a tad more involved than that when I fitted my mk 1 ST 170 seats
