East Anglia Garage Recomendations - Injectors

Postby avgenisis » Wed Jun 09, 2021 9:12 am

Hi,

Not posted for a while, but i need a bit of urgent advice, anybody reccomend either a mobile or a fixed garage / workshop, in the north Norfolk / Norwich (UK) area.

Ive got the flashing coil light again (only 40k since full injector swap out at a dealer) but cant find anybody who will diagnose or leaktest / repair.

All here (that i have tried) say too old (the dealer who did it last time), since covid dont do vans any more as weve been left with too many, or that delphi system is more trouble than they are worth, we dont touch them anymore...

its a 2006 LWB tourneo connect 249K miles.

Its got the EML onnow as it went into linp (heater light) 3 times on way home last night. has gone into limp 3 times in 4 months before this.

Im going to try a chineese code reader ive got, just to read it so I can get some further info, will post the results later.

Many thanks in advance.

i don't know crap about injectors

are those measurements ..

if they are ..how is that possible when a 2006 will have ordinary manual injectors with no electrics going to them

Doesn't that sum up what a nation of tossers we've become? They only want to do the easy stuff and half the time they'll balls that up as well.

Can't you try and get a second hand set from ebay? I know that ForDiag that I have does code some Delphi systems, the MK3 Mondeos, etc.

2006 Connect is the change over year fromDelphi fuel systems (Euro 3) to Siemens (Euro 4)

if your engine has Delphi injector, It's a Euro3

P0251 Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control
P1211 Injector Control Pressure Higher/Lower Than Desired (engine running)

It will either be injector fault or fuel pump. or in some cases both :!:

Injector leak of test will confirm in injectors are at fault. - If 1 or 2 are faulty, it's best to replace all 4

Check diesel filter for swarf - If present, fuel pump has worn out.
Replacement fuel pump & injectors are required.

When was diesel filter last replaced :?: :?:

Is your Connect the ex police van - One that had cell in back :?:

If so, I think you've been to mine at some point. Your welcome to drop it off, on weekend for me to go over it & diagnose fault. 8)
