Hi
My Transit connect Cut out yesterday when driving then wouldn’t start.
The van will turn over but sounds a little different while turning over.
I have noticed a red light on the dashboard is flashing.
When I try to start the van for the first 1-2 seconds it sounds normal then the noise changes after and won’t fire up.
Any help would be appreciated

Could you tell us what year the van is? Also, which warning light it was that came on? Would be great help.

It’s a 2004 Connect. Further investigation today I realized the Cam belt has snapped. Shame really as the van only has 106k on the Clock. I’m going to fit a new belt but I’m guessing it’s probably bent a Valve or Two.
