New 2021 Connect question

Postby AkhiMertail » Thu Jul 15, 2021 11:19 am

I was interested in purchasing a new FTC. On the Ford site, the 2.5L I-VCT I-4 Gas Engine, says it comes with the CNG/LPG Engine Prep Package. Does this mean the car only runs on either CNG/LPG or regular gas? I read someplace it's just a kit, and a tank would have to be installed aftermarket? So assuming it does both, I would assume it has two separate tanks. How many gallons does it hold? Where is it? Do you just flick a switch to toggle between the two?

I called two dealerships and they had no idea what I was talking about.

You may struggle for replies, as most owners here are from the UK, where we don't have these vehicles with petrol engines.

We could do with more US owners on here, as Transits have become more common in the states, but they seem to be a shy bunch, unless there is a US based forum where they all hang out?
