Evening all. Looking in to giving my connect a service. 1.8di 2009. I haven’t got a hand book. Could anyone confirm If it’s a5/b5 oil. Thank you

Looking at shell 5-30 AF A5/B5

go euro car parts they have 5w30 on offer

5w30 is 5w30 oil

I haven’t got a handbook but searching online I see some say A1/b1 and a5/B5.

You're over thinking it, it's not a high performance engine, it just needs a reasonable quality 5w/30 semi-synthetic oil, and change it fairly often :)

Thank you for the reply’s. Just rang my local Ford this morning, asking as it meets m2c913-d they said it’s fine.

Note: you may have quite a struggle to take the oil filter off. I found it quite difficult myself and I've been at it for a lifetime. oil filter is large , my strap wrench was too small , my geared oil filter grabber was too small ..ended up using large stiltsen type adjustable.
