‘04 Connect won’t start….

Hi All,

I hope you all good! I’m new here and need some advise.

I have a Connect 2004 TDDI and it’s a none starter unfortunately. I have tried everything to get it start up with no luck and I’m sure we missed something. I’ve read a lot of topic here about the same issue, the famous fuel pump and what comes with it. Codes are P0216, U0105 most of the time and we can’t clear those out at all. We’ve checked the relays, we virginised the ECD and then paired with the ECU successfully. Still not starting.
What I don’t understand is that the K13 relay (I think that’s what it’s called) should stay on after you turn the ignition on but the relay drops out after 1 second so no power goes to the pump.
Anyone here can tell me why?

Looking at the thread you pointed too

it says search ebay for VP30 pump

Having done this ...in the search it brings up two transistors that fail on the ecm ..that are £3.99 to buy ...........so if you are any good at electronic repairs or know someone ...maybe cheap repair.

The OP of the thread that I linked to, ended up sending his pump EDC off for repair, and re-fitting it in his own pump. There's no guarantee that this is the same fault, but it's worth looking at
