Dpf removal

Hi im new to the site and have a question. I have a 2012 connect with a dpf.can i just buy a non dpf downpipe from a older model and fit it then have the dpf mapped out? Also i have a very annoying high pitch whistle that come on at 2200 rpm when under load but no loss of power has anyone else had this problem?

Hi you'll need a stage 1 map with dpf and egr delete. You don't need to block the thr egr valve however you will need to take the dpf filter out. Should be around £350-450. There a chap called the vantuner you can Google him.
