transit connect 74bhp tuning

Postby blunty83 » Fri Nov 18, 2022 8:45 pm

hi guys recently purchased a lovely connect with full rs bodykit/alloys etc.

now apart from a remap, is there anything else that can be done to improve the power output?
are there any turbo upgrades available?
what limit do the injectors have?
how restrictive is the head/inlet/exhaust system etc?
are there any better air filters/induction available?

sorry for the many questions but i have tried to keep them in one place and hopefully gather as much info i can.

hugely thankful for any help :)

Technically there's really nothing that can be added as for a turbo etc. But the best way to explore this it to find out what other vehicles have the 1.0, 1.5 (Europe) and the 2.0, 2.5 (North American) However there are a few simply things you can do which we've already done to increase your van's performance. Adding the drop in performance air filter, new upgraded performance sparkplugs like the NGK's. Create and add a Catback system for better flow. Then explore your suspension upgrades. research the 2018 RS or ST Focus for suspension parts and the Mazda 3 for engine parts.
