Help with cranking rebult engine - fuel problems

Postby sparkybandit » Sat Nov 26, 2022 8:06 pm

Hi
short story is cambelt snapped and ive finally rebuilt engine and now trying to get her started.
can anyone check the picture of the hand priming pump ive conected and confirm ive routed it the right way?
also my crankshaft sensor is one that requiresit to be a certain gap between both, from what location to what location do i need to measure and slide sensor into optimum position...haynes says measure between the sensor and the senor housing? should there be an 'o' ring at base of sensor as well?
thanks

well,i fitted crankshaft sensor first flat to the flywheel then slotted a couple of feeler guages in to the value of 1.2mm between the holder the sensor slots into and the ridge on the sensor itself so it's set back from the flywheel the right distance so thats sorted.
