Stop start not working 2019 transit connect tourneo.

Hey folks .... the start stop ability on my van has stopped working. Will not turn on ? Any ideas on a fix .

If your battery is getting weak and passed its best it can stop the stop start working.

99% it's the above problem ^^.
I didn't even know that my Focus had stop-start until the battery failed and I fitted a new one

The battery must be over 80% charged or it wont activate

Just like everyone has pointed out, also had this on my FTC, I charged the battery overnight and following day and start/stop feature returned, just make sure it’s not been turned off by a mechanic in settings, should be a toggle switch to enable/disable.

Common reasons for start-stop not working:

Battery: Weak or failing battery is a top suspect. Get it checked.
Engine Temperature: System might be disabled if engine isn't warmed up yet.
Other factors: Open doors, high A/C use, etc. can disable it temporarily.
Check your owner's manual for specific koows reasons in your van. If none of those apply, consult a mechanic.
