2019 Facelift Connect won’t START!!!

Hi all.

Urgent need of your help!

So I disconnected the battery for around 10minutes and checked all the fuses within the engine bay (all seemed fine).

I disconnected the battery and checked the fuses as the screen went black and wasn’t working!

Put it all back together and nothing! The van no longer starts.

The starter motor has been checked and is fine but looks like it is not receiving my 12v when the battery is being engaged.

I am in desperate need of your help.

both related to ABS ,...the vehicle gets its speed input from the ABS sensors...well it does on the older ones

i would start by clearing the codes and making sure battery is fully charged.

found this - Resetting the ABS light.

Disconnect the positive cable from your car battery, then let the electrical system's residual power drain by activating the headlight switch. This method can sometimes reset the ABS warning light. Or, use an OBD-II scanner to reset the ABS light.



so maybe you didn't run it down fully and capacitors in the system held power

and everywhere I've read its says 15 mins for a reset

I have disconnected and switched the lights on now.

I will leave it for 15minutes now and check again.

Ok - this theory maybe wild but….

I think the engine immobiliser isn’t disarming

The clutch pedal has been checked and I know this is working and I get what sounds like a fuel pump sound from the rear when I try and turn the key

So either the van has forgotten the key or the key is knackered

I think it’s in the van side….

So I get it started I cleaned the terminals in the fuse box! And I got it started but I have no power steering!!!!
