relearn vehicle data- powertrain control module (pcm)

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for some advice regarding what exactly the relearn vehicle data function found on Autel scanners under Tire Size does,
I have had quite a few issues with injectors and when they have been either recoded or replaced, the van runs beautifully, and am looking to get the fuel correlation to relearn, however I have recently had a performance remap, and was wondering if conducting the relearn vehicle data- powertrain control module (pcm) would have any detrimental effect on my remap.

Don't know anything about Autel scanners, but a quick google search confirms that there all sorts of different models of Autel scanners and it would be of benefit to the answer provider; if your question was say what model it is .

Otherwise, most here use Forscan --- so there is less of a chance of an answer here than a Autel forum.
