Transit Connect PCV Valve 1.8 TDCi Location??

Postby 247Dealing » Mon Apr 07, 2025 4:55 pm

Hi guys. I have blueish / greyish smoke from my Connect MK1 1.8 TDCi. Rocker cover was leaking, fixed. Injector seals were leaking, fixed.

I still have light grey / blue smoke from exhaust. Not experiencing run away so suspect turbo seals are ok.

It COULD be leaking valve seals or piston rings BUT I want to try the PCV as the Dipstick is blowing out.

One problem is that I can not for the life of me fine the PCV valve. Oil separator is removed and is degreasing now.

Any help locating the PCV Valve please?

**2009 MK1 Ford Transit Connect 1.8 TDCi.

Thanks all :)

Was guessing maybe no pcv. Thanks for that. Yeah I noticed a pcv looking plug in rocker cover. Will look into that.

Thanks, Mark.

Think that only happens on the diesel engines that have injectors that pass through the rocker cover
