Questions

1. Is it possible for the fuel pump to leak into the engine?

2. Do you think this is caused by leaky injectors?

There no coolant loss and the engine is smooth and starts well and gives good fuel consumption

No oil in coolant

Last oil change 2000 miles ago .oil now 5mm above high level mark, it was filled to just below high level mark.
been on several long trips the last few weeks

i suppose after 20 years seals become hard and worn, (not having any knowledge of this pumps workings)
