2025 Connect airbag issue

Hi All

I am having an issue with an airbag error in a 2025 Transit Connect Limited.

I installed a dashcam and for ease of access I unplugged the passenger seat on/off switch.

Ever since then, there has been an airbag error ping up on the dash.

I've tried an OBD to clear the error but nothing shows up.

Has anybody any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Air bag deployment is controlled by a module usually located under one of the seats ..if by unplugging this on/off thingy - you may have disabled it or interrupted it ..so .. work on that idea.

if it does have to be reset ..cant help you there, as connects are now VW's (caddy) , no info here!
You will possibly have to join VW forum to find out more.
