No fuel to injectors

Postby Johnb92 » Fri May 23, 2025 5:17 pm

Anyone got any tips for bleeding the fuel to injectors 64 plate connect and for the life of me I can not get fuel to the injectors tried with a squeeze pump got the filter filled I’ve tried putting the pump into the connection that feeds the injectors but after a couple of squeezes the pump stays sucked in so it can’t be pumped no more I’ve lost hope with it now

On that model you have as low pressure fuel pump in the tank
This is a combined device , this has a motor and pump, fuel screen and level sensor.

How to test
note these pumps can fail as jammed ...and can be un-jammed by hitting the tank with a plastic mallet ..but this is a sign that; that it is not long before it fails completely . also the filter screen can be blocked.

The in tank fuel pump gives 0.5 bar maximum, that's half a bar or 7psi

Think that would be ignition on ..engine ticking over or stopped.

When flat out ...well that's another set of parameters

But says in the specs: flow rate 145 litres per hour, So basically you'll be doing a test over 1 min which is 145 divided by 60

Which should return 2.41 litres a min, with i imagine an open pipe.

also look on this diagram to spot other devices such as one way valves and breathers to the tank that could stop the fuel getting to the high pressure pump.
