Not All End Links Are Designed The Same

Postby LostinTransit » Thu Jun 12, 2025 10:12 am

As part of my own going issue of finding the correct end links for our van.. I've located a better designed link made by Godspeed. This link (unlike the 8 other links we've tried) has a flush fit design ball joint. This mena instead of the link rod mounted in the center of the ball joint, it's mounted to one side (towards the ball joint threads) which offers more/better clearance.. in theory.. Again we've went through 8 different end links since 2020 and the only one that's worked respectably, is the NAPA 11.00'' (280mm) links, but after only 2 years these have also failed just like the 8 others.

These adjustable end links made by Godspeed measure 280mm-310mm and we do not need to adjust them as the 280mm is spot on to what we need on the van. So this Sat out with the old in with the new.. Also, off to the lift of this image shows new struts as we're giving up on the Bilstein b6 as they aren't holding up either.. We've opted for a set of the Monroe struts at half the cost of the Bilsteins.. As an added bonus, the red thing lower left is a knuckle spreader which the shop didn't have to make it easier to remove the struts.. so I bought it for them.
