heated screen wash jets?

Postby kjharry » Fri Feb 08, 2008 9:13 pm

Hi,I am using a Connect 200tdci for work at the moment and I am very pleased with it.My question is this,I am sure I read somewhere that heated screen wash jets are available as an option for the Connect, are they available to fit to my van?,how easy is it?,ie wiring, switching etc,is the wiring already in place to be joined on to and are they worth doing anyway, for the cold mornings, thanks.

I've had my heated jets freeze up a few times; most recently was about 10 mins after I got off the ferry at Stranraer at half midnight in that cold spell we had a couple of weeks back. Once they'd frozen the bu99ers wouldn't defrost, I had to drive about 160 miles before they started working again. I could have stopped but if you know the A75 you'll know that once you get stuck behind something, you can be there a long time! :D
Connect-ed since 2003... now in a 2014 T240 115PS Ltd.
