Rumbling noise

Postby kjharry » Tue Feb 26, 2008 8:10 pm

Hi, my 06 connect with 35k miles has developed a rumbling noise with a faint knock from the front drivetrain, cant tell which side, can hear it at all speeds, can anyone give me any ideas please,I suspect a wheel bearing or drive shaft bearing, does this model have a history of these items failing at such a low mileage?,thanks.

I would put money on its the NSF wheel bearing, usually the hub nut comes loose and kills the bearing  but the nuts have now been changed
Driveshafts tend to vibrate when there on the way out, so it doesnt sound like that :?
I take it, it is still under warraty being an 06 plate?
I miss my 'courtesy van'............140 Glx..now a Jumbo :(
