ScanGauge II question

Does the above do MPG in US gallons or UK gallons?

I know they now do it in litres and kmph but would rather have something I understand instantly like UK mpg and not US

Here's the reply I got:

"Dear Sir,

scangauge self corrects the MPG after 2 fillups.

Please let us know if you need additional information"

Anyone know what that means when I asked if it was US mpg or UK mpg?

If it was bought from a UK dealer then I would hope/expect it is UK gallons.

Right, my ScanGauge II device turned up today and I have a slip in the box that says:

"When you have calibrated as per the instructions for the ScanGauge, if you enter the number of Imperial gallons on the 2nd 'fillup' it will then be calibrated in Imperial rather than US gallons"

Well I have read the manual and it has confused the hell out of me as to how/when this is to be done. Does any other ScanGauge user on the forum know or can explain how this is done?

One of the reasons I haven't ordered one, I asked them a direct question and got a confusing answer.

Someone else on here has one and was hoping they had the answer?
