Anyone know why the battery no charge light comes on after about two minutes, the system seems to be charging and the battery stays good even with night driving, the alternator was replaced but the light still comes on at about the same time,2004 Connect diesel.

The loom to the alt is prone to breaking internally. You can get a replacement from Fords or make up a new one yourself. I think its the blue wire that runs to the dash and is the alt's charge sensing wire.

Mines been on for about 3 weeks now!
