oooooooooooh. What model did the new wheel come off of? (I'm presuming 'Focus' but a mk1 or what?)

Will you miss the feel of crumbling foam beneath your fingertips?

@UCmanster, Thank You! Adding that to the list...

@ Blue Estate, That looks good, that'll be the next undertaking for me. (Once I've done some household tasks; Keep the missus happy, make the hacienda nice. Can't just hide in the van for the entirety of the quarantine...)

Today I got around to swapping out the stock airbox and intake for a mk1 Focus intake. I also removed the intercooler and every bit of ducting from intake to throttle to give it a good scrub, and due to my " unnecessary* " cleaning I found several new holes in the cold air feed pipe, so I replaced that with an el cheapo soft rubbery copy. Also found one of the IC pipe struts had snapped clean half in two, so I fixed that. And resprayed the heads of the bolts I removed. And did same for the bonnet lock brace.
Got it all back in and tightened up, and went for a spin. I cannot believe the difference.
The van actually accelerates as I press down on the pedal... Like immediately, not just eventually. Chuffed to bits! :D

*My neighbour takes great joy in slagging me off for spending so much time at the van. "If it ain't broke don't fix it" etc. Some people just don't get it...

Testing out different wraps on my grill, do you think it looks a bit gay or is it ok?

Perhaps some grayscale bar would be smoother, that black one sticks out like a sore thumb. Or the original double rainbow bar.

Place called carkeysbanbury.co.uk

He is local to me and was very helpful.

Supplied, cut and programmed two new keys and even replaced the battery in the original I had.

Took about 25 mins.
