Yes but why don't you look for the newer ford Sony with the buttons across the top just search under mk7 fiesta
you'll notice the difference over the standard 6000cd

Same as the one i posted, you can get them a lot cheaper than £250 tho

theres loads of the one u posted. but they dont have the surround to fit in the hole. do u know if u can buy them separate mate??

I would have thought the surround is available seperately, you could try Fords or even late model breakers, i want to put one of these units in my mk7 Fiesta when i have the cash

Yep read that. Fair bit of messing around. Found this on ebay, says it will convert the older Connects to accept double din headsets.

That will reduce it down to fit a single din, it will not however increase the size of the hole to fit a double din

Thats what I thought however it does clearly state "These adaptors will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a single/double din size ready for head unit installation. (JVC, Kenwood, Sony etc)"

I reckon so as the hole for the earlier stereo is din and a half, the later one is double din
