Not everyone is on the forum mate  The idea is that its not a forum specific event. But I do agree it would be a good idea to have something like that on the van number sheet
Lucas Laser 2000 & IDS
95 M Prototype/Mule DRW 100PS Highcube
95 N Hallmark (white)
96 P 150 TD 100PS LWB Hi-Top
96 P Autosleeper Duetto
2 x 2006 Mk7s

Had a great Day, I only made it for sunday but it was the best day out i had in a long time, only a couple of ideas, as johnny transit said it would be nice to know which van the trophies are for as well, at least till we manage to put all vans to faces. i would like to see a rat section in the show and shine and possibly a section for forum members other vans ie non transits but must be member owned...else wise i could see it just turning into a free for all. would be good to see auto jumble throughout the weekend too.

However none of these comments are meant as a negative to what we have had just a few ideas for bigger and better

Kindest regards
Martin

Just got back home - big thanks to everyone who helped out this year 8) 8) apart from the rain early on it was a perfect weekend :D ive spoke with billing and i dont think other than a few complaints over the music being played late we havent done too bad

keep the suggestions coming please   :D

i like the tug of war idea - something like pulling a transit over a set distance - mabe teams of 2/3/4 someone time them then have a leaderboard - the winner at the end of it all could get a prize

as for lining the vans up in mk order i agree it would be better but logistically it could be a nightmare - but we'll see what position we are in next year :D

also knowing what vans won the trophys is a definate - its been said before we could get them to drive up but this would be too dificult so i thought how about a TV screen behing me and the trophy winner with a picture of thir van on  i'm sure this could be sorted with a lap top - digital camera etc. without too much trouble :D

as said keep the ideas coming 8)

As previous said this was a great show again this year and next year will be bigger and better. A couple ideas as follows, to help the organisation side:

* Luke you take help when its offered before the weekend of the show

* On the Show and Shine Score Card, might be worth noting on the bottom where the completed forms need to handed in and also what time the trophies will be handed out (saves everyone running around just before hand letting everyone know its about to take place). I can mock something up if you want me to Luke.

* A spreadsheet or counting system for when the votes come in, so Luke can actually enjoy and see the show which he has organised :D - Luke I will look into this as mentioned yesterday and get back to you.

At the last second just before the trophies got handed out my mate did try and get a app for his phone which would make it in to a mic which could then be plugged in to my headunit but when we tried it there was just to much of a buzzin noise.

But worry not I will get this sorted out for next year via lap top and Plasma. Once you know which vans are getting trophies someone can go and get pics of these vans, stick the cameras SD card in to my laptop and then connect the plasma tv to the laptop with a microphone and bobs your uncle :D

Well I have to say I had a realy Lazy weekend, I needed it 8) , only two people asked for help and they got it....whcih is strange since last year I had the pitstop sign out and no-one asked for help

Can't fault the organisation in any way, I just wish we didn't all have to have our vans rattling with the HEAVY BASS all day :!: The sound off is fair enough, but I heard literally dozens of people complaining about the noise, tone it down next year guys please  It not all about the bass :!:

  Also people need to stop blaming me every time there hear a bit of bass. Nearly got kicked out on Sunday morning by security. They rolled up in their shitty Clio saying how this ''Yellow'' Transit had been blaring music all through the night until 3am When I stated the van was turned of well before 11.00pm he goes if he finds out it was me, he will come back and have a serious word with me. SO I said I am standing here now have any word you want now as this is the only Yellow Transit here..........before things got out of hand a fellow forum member stepped in and told them to get bent and off they went.

how about getting some of the fabricators on here to make the little ones some tot transits so they can have their own little display like the do at the street rod events with the tot rods, as I know sophie would like her own little transit Luke :D
