well what can i say had Gurj down my yard today, heard him coming long before he arrived not sure if hes gonna get much competion to worry about, he was playing boom boom pow, black eyed peas and it set of a car alarm on the other side of the road im surprised that metal fatigue hasnt made the roof fall off its LOUD

Got a battery and the meter works

I just gave it a test, stuck it in front of my sub and managed 121db.
It will be further away for the testing though, so no doubt that'll drop a lot
but I will be swapping amps for comp

Just been to see Clive at SoundOffs re equiptment / judging / advise etc.

The last sound of which i went to about 2 years ago the DB read at 128db that was windows down doors shut and 5 meters away from the front of the van. But i have changed the sounds since then so lets see how we do this tym

Mate this is a SPL competition. If it were a quality competition no one would win as every one has their own taste e.g I prefer really low bass something that makes it hard for you to breath

Also I really don't think there is any proper way out there to judge on quality.

we've also got 3 trophys for the 3 best ice installed vans so if a van isnt the loudest it could still come away with a trophy
