If we can organise an introduction into welding would anyone be interested? We will bring all the kit and safety stuff...

Anything you would like to see, learn etc?

And above all is anyone interested

I'd like to book my van in for some welding pleae Matt :mrgreen:

Rear doors need replacing or some serious repairs :wink:

A small patch of rust above driver's door - looks like it was caused by a blocked drain :evil:

Maybe fabricate me a new rear bumper? :lol:

I can provide plenty of tinnies to keep the workers lubricated :mrgreen:

Not offering welding on peoples vans... more teaching people how too. Would be happy to show you what to do and then let you weld your own van up though! :lol:

i dont mind helping out Matt

i can bring some masks, gloves etc.

i should be able to get hold of some scrap steel and i'll be able to help with some demo's too

Matt i think the Welding & Electric Demo offers might prove to be very popular & (including me :mrgreen:

) which will benefit quite a few of us who are unsure of certain jobs to tackle

Are we going to have any specific questions?

Im indending to have a little display of all the common types of welds and examples of good welds and poor welds - and the reason why...

Hopefully people would understand what a lap, butt and plugs are! :shock:
