Overall we had 85 voting sheets returned 8)

It was a much bigger task than i'd expected tallying them all up - if it wasnt for help from Kathy, my dad (who came down for the day) and minormatt i'd have struggled to count them all up in the day

I was really pleased with the public voting idea 8) we had a good variety of winners and not strictly in the order a 'proffesional' judge would have picked but i think thats a good thing 8)

Just looking through the results i've got here and there are some odd results, certain vans that were up for the same mk trophy are in different places in the class trophys :?
but i think mabe people thought well ive voted for that all ready i'll give this one a go

also some honorable mentions (in no particular order) who closely missed out on trophys mainly due to being in hotly contested catagorys.......... mrmpuk, martin (not on forum white mk5) mrgasoil, billyboy, and the mk6 sportvan (cant remember forum name)

i think also the ones that turned up after some of the vote sheets had been returned were at a disadvantage - next year we can have a time on everything eg.
start to line up vans 9:00
vote sheets handed out 11:00
collected in by 12:30
trophys presented 13:00

that way no complaints that we started without you

I must admit, winning our trophy really topped the weekend, just having the public give us a couple of votes felt really good. When we heard 3rd called out we thought ah well at least we got some votes but to get second was amazing. We were really pleased for Chopper as all the family liked his van and it really spurred us on to build a jumbo for next year. Really nice family too we got on well and enjoyed meeting them as well as everyone who made a great weekend. Transit owners are the best.
