Auto Locksmith @ Transitmania 2010

Postby bancroftlocksmiths » Tue Aug 24, 2010 8:46 pm

Hi everyone,
Just to let you all know I will be in the traders area all weekend (if theres gonna be a dedicated area) offering various services which maybe of interest to you.

Key Cutting from the earliest model to the very latest.

Programming Transponder Keys with the latest diagnostic equipment, including all your coded access types. 1995 through to 2010 no problem.

Key Copying using the latest transponder chips.

Supplying New Remote Control Fobs, and also replacement cases for those which have broken the little plastic ring off.

Fully Computerised Key Cutting To Code Number, for those keys which are badly worn and have to be jiggled about to get them to work, this method can often save you from having to buy an additional new key and having it coded.

Lock stripping and re-building, this service is for anyone who has an odd lock on their vehicle which doesn't match. An example is ignition barrel has been replaced, so you now have a key for the ignition and a different key for the doors. I can re-tumble the ignition barrel to the same pattern as the door key, cut a replacement key and fit your programmed transponder from the old ignition key into the new key. You now have one key that fits all the locks.

So if any of you have got any old keys/locks that used to work and now dont, bring them along, I may be able to save you money

I also have diagnostic equipment for fault code reading and code clearing.

I can give Ford Radio Codes with the "M" Serial Number.

If anyone has any questions regarding keys and locks, please let me know, and Im looking forward to seeing you all soon. :D

P.S: If anyone is interested in a replacement 3 button fob please let me know as I would like to get the best prices for you from my supplier (the more I order, the cheaper your fob).

You can get radio codes on here already for free and I'll be offering fault code reading and clearing, also for free.

Yes Ford "M" radio codes are free, im just saying its something I can give on the day if anyone needs one. I don't suppose anyone will be taking their battery off at the meet, will they

Also if someone feels that they may have a troublesome issue with their vehicle, I would be happy to scan the fault codes for them.

might have to get you to rebuild my fuel filler cap lock to match the rest of the van, aslo get a spare key cut and coded on my mk5, as its starting to play up opening the drivers door.
So what sort of money are you charging for things at the show ?

Yes pop along and see me, Im trying to get my suppliers to do me a deal on various keys, remotes and transponders at present.

Really need to wait and see how many of you want spares, as when I place an order with them it's no going back.

I'll have an idea soon I hope, sorry to be a bit vague but as most things "it depends on the demand"

Hi bancroftlocksmiths
On my Mk3 I have 1 key for drivers door and ignition, another key for passenger door and side loading doors, and another key for the tailgate  How much £££ would it be to get all locks working off of 1 key, as I walk with a limp when all these keys are in my pocket
