Insulating my transit :) help guys!

Postby kjdiscos » Sun Dec 02, 2012 7:26 pm

Hey guys,

I have a transit connect, nice and small :), but im planning on dossing down in the back a few weekends a year.

I need to insulate the back of it because tbh its not warm at all.

I am planning on using recycled bottle insulation, And foil bubble insultion,

know what i need to know is cus i have seen varying storys,

do i need to put the bubble insulation, then bottle insulation then bubble then put the ply panels back on ? and before i put the ply on use that silver tape to seal all the joints ?

or can someone suggest anything else,

Peoples ideas will differ,
I used 25 mm jablite insulation everywhere it fitted, then bubble insulation everywhere else i could get it,
I also carpeted the roof inside
