Fuse box wiring question

Postby Alaleuile » Fri Dec 14, 2012 9:29 pm

Hi,

I'm a little bit confused about how to connect my fuse box to my leisure battery. I have an 8-way blade fuse box (like this one: http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/p ... ategory/63), so it has 8 input terminals and 8 output terminals. Does anyone know the best way to connect the single positive feed from the battery to the 8 input terminals on the fuse box? Is there something I can buy that will join the input terminals together (a busbar or something), or do I need to somehow split the input wire into 8?!

Or have I bought the wrong kind of fuse box...?

Buy decent sized spade terminals (yellow insulation) and loop the cable from one to the next using some 2.5mm cable, or put one spade on each with a short length of cable, and then join all the cables in a decent connector block, or with a nice soldered connection
