James Bond

anyone know what "Bond" is best to glue lets say timber to metal for camper conversions, is silkaflex or whatever its called the best type of bond, please no answers like "Golden eye is the best bond" HAHA!!!

just used it on mine and not had a prob, there is cheaper but found this to be the best

Tigerseal is very strong, Get it from local car parts dept.

done all mine with sikaflex, just make sure you have a 2mm gap

I used Bostik Serious Stuff. I bonded battens end on to the edge of the roof cross members with a 4mm bead. When I came to get them off, I could hang my weight on it. Astonishing stuff. It's how I fit things to the inside skin now and its only about 8 quid a tube.
We even made a small electric car once using this stuff with bamboo & plywood (a whole other story).

I've used a number of grab adhesives and most have been fantastic. The only one that is complete rubbish is no more nails.
