Anyone got info about what rules there are fitting beds/seats/seatbelts/rock and roll beds with seatbelts in the rear of a panel van with regards to insurance and MOT etc?

i had a google and spoke to a few ppl regarding this before i got mine fitted last week. as fare as i understand it if its a new van they must be M1 crash tested. but for a conversion or modification they do not.
