I'd guarantee the insurers would refuse cover on a wooden seat! I do work for an insurer

Surely it would be an issue unless there was an accident and any passengers in the back claimed for injuries? Or am i totally misguided?

update
Done a few bits but forgot the pics. Today though, we started the dreaded job of putting up the carpet on the ceiling and walls. Seemed to work well and was easier than anticipated. Pics below.....
