The bonded privacy windows I fitted are not total privacy, but you need to get close up to see in. seeing out is fine. I'm going to do the rear doors next with the same bonded glass.

Hi I'm a newbie we've just bought a 1997 camper to do up, does anyone know of a tinting film I can get instead of replacing windows and if so where can I buy it please?

I just bought the cheap stuff from Ebay, but the results weren't perfect

I had mine done at DA motor fittings at Stoke.

He called it Drug Dealer Black. You can see out but not in, unless the interior lights are switched on.

They are great for privacy and would recommend the fitting of.

What do reckon a fair price would be for two side windows on a t350 with the two little openings on them. Been quoted 120 quid I think that's a bit steep, but to be fair I have no idea what skill is involved in fitting it properly, limo black btw, not that it should matter much IMO.

Cheers brad.

We've done our own on a couple of campers, order the tint off ebay ( twice as much as you need 1st time) cut the tint bigger than the window to be done, give the windows a good clean. When following the instructions absolutely soak the window and film as ypu peel it half down, use a bigger tool than the little thing supplied to expel water/air stroking from the middle to the edges, just concentrate getting the centre part flat first. When you get to the window edges use the tool to push film into the recess before cutting. What i've done on openers is to remove the catches that open the windows and when the film is dried out i have used black tape over the film and window so theres no chance of the wind getting behind it when windows are open.

Youtube has some great videos too.
