NEWBIE DUETTO, INTERIOR REMOVAL

Looking for some help guys, my transit duetto needs some welding at the back end, started to strip out shower and toilet today with not a lot of success, seems to me that it has all been built in with the roof off because seems to be screws you just cant get to, nightmare

Had another go at removing toilet and shower room today with a bit more success, the screws for the side panel and door frame for the toilet are screwed in from the top which you can't get, so carefully had to prise the door frame off as its held on with small staples/nails then prise the screws out of the top, you got to be a bit brutal, they obv never intended it to come apart.
Now started trying to take out the units that house the fridge and freezer, another nightmare ......

all the places where mine was rotten.. there will be more to do underneath too. its taken me a year of evenings and weekend - bar loosing some time due to winter weather to repair and weld every single rotton part of mine. .

Yeah tomorrow nights job is to get her up on blocks, going to drop axle right out, got the sills to do as well, going to get the back done 1st tho so can get interior back in before i forget where it all goes,lol!
Is yours a duetto mate?

No mines a lwb high top self build camper mk5 I did the same weld up the floor first then you can get it back in one piece as you'll be under it for a while to come but don't give up you'll get there

Weather shouldn't be a problem with me, dads got a big shed so got it in there! Yeah my last project was a International 454 tractor and I lost notion with it, took me about a year to finish it, going to try get the head down and get this done, need to try see what bits I need to buy now, anybody know any good places to get panels and chassis parts?

Got her up on blocks tonight, axle out and exhaust off, it snapped off,lol (rotten)

Yeah mate couple of hours anyway,lol! Busy trying to source parts just now so not done much the last couple days

It looks bad now but once you start replacing steel it will come together . Not sure you need to bother with the hassle and expense of buying panels for underneath just buy a sheet of steel , or two, thicker for the chassis sections . A vice hammer mole grips jigsaw cardboard for templates etc and you'll be done !

Want her looking like she did when she was made mate, quicker and easier to weld in the proper bits £400 quid for parts for the rear, didn't think that was to bad, couple bits were ford only but most bits are available aftermarket

Not too bad, I always make anything needed for underneath myself and only buy panels that will be on show topside
