bit of a update been cracking on gutting van & getting some insulation installed.
Image
was pleasantly surprised condition underneath floor and side panels the side panels were a bit of a bugger to remove somebody liked his rivet gun.
Image
insulation i work for a company who build/repair heavy goods/refrigerated trailers we use closed cell foam and expanding foam i have opted to use the closed cell foam easy to shape and i can get for free :D.
in picture there is 40mm cellotex used this on bottom of rear doors & side doors also on bottom half of van.
Image
Image
Image
i used venture aluminium foil tape to attach to inner body did not like idea of it stuck to outer wall .
for roof i used 25mm foam also stuck some plywood for attaching panneling used evostick liquid metal good stuff.
Image
if your considering using foam would recommend putting tape on edges prevent squeaking well annoying when driving.

floor and wheel arch insulating/sound proofing i purchased 12 foiled camping mats of ebay just cut to size and stuck down with tape also used behind front door cards noticed when fiddling with locks nothing there.
Image
that's me done for today time for some grub.
