Has anyone built a demountable camper,I have a crew cab pickup with a very short bed about 5ft so i was thinking of making a demountable over cab camper on jacks and make the pickup bed the same ( demountable )any thoughts ??

Anything is possible, but its quite a bit of engineering to make it light, yet strong enough, probably easier to buy a pre built one
